1. Disappointed
I thought this would be something new but its just a repeat of the guidebook already on the hdx. Been reading it for a couple hours now and don't feel like any more of an expert than I was before I started.
2. More like a product review
This is really only useful as a product review, and an expensive one at that if you didn't manage to get it when it was free. Once you have your kindle, all of the included info will become obvious within a few hours just through normal use.
I've had my kindle since the day it came out and just by using it normally I've found out virtually everything listed in these pages. The author even listed an app at the end that isn't necessary anymore and only applied to older generations of kindles.
Need more appointment... ?
Disappointing
If you've used your HDX more than a couple days, skip this: Claiming to turn me into an expert implies that you are an expert and know everything there is on the subject at hand... This author does not. There are more than a few technical errors and issues present, such as describing apps that work with the HDX when they do not, glossing over certain instructions such as setting up a USB transfer and so on. I'm glad this was free, but disappointed to see that it's available in its current form. It needs a lot of work before it becomes worthwhile.
