This Skins & Decals give to us some advantages, like this :
1. very cool
We now have 3 Kindle HD 8.9"s in our house so I thought it was a good idea to purchase these so we wouldn't get them mixed up. The picture doesn't do it justice. It's way more detailed and beautiful when you get the acutal Skin/Decal. It seemed to be easy to apply, although I made my husband do it since he's better at that kind of thing, but he didn't seem to have any problems. There wasn't any swearing going on. If you get the screen protector for the Kindle, make sure you apply that first. I'm thrilled with the purchase.

2. Beautiful Scene
I love the Elegy Skin/Decal for it is so beautiful and looks as if i can walk right into it. I love alot of them but only needed one and the choice was so hard. I ordered one awhile back for my grandaughter for her Kindle and the colors was wonderful. We both would recommend DecalGirl to eveyone looking for a skin/decal. The choices are great and if you dont find one here you will never find one. The prices are great and the service is amazing. Thank You Sherri

Simply beautiful, if a bit patience-testing
The first thing I was surprised to learn was the number of stickers (not the ones you remember from your childhood, think vinyl decals) involved in this skin. I was expecting either one very large (and difficult to apply) sticker, or two (front and back). What comes in this kit is 4: one for the front and one for each distinct section of the back.

The materials are clearly high quality and the art on it is gorgeous. A great amount of effort was put in to making sure lines, like the ripples in the water on the back piece, line up across sections when they are placed appropriately.

The only issue I had with this was applying the sticker to the front. The material seemed to stretch noticeably in response to my body heat and in the end was slightly larger than it needed to be after I'd made several efforts to get this particularly fidgety piece lined up correctly. Left with the choice of a small fold or wrinkle or a slightly skewed frame, I opted for the latter...
