After recently purchasing a KIndle Fire HD I was a little unsure as to how to make the best use of it. So I looked on Amazon for something to help out my technophobe brain and decided to buy this guidebook based on the reviews. I'm glad that I did!
It is absolutely packed with detailed and informative information that will get even the most techno challenged novices up and running with their Fire in no time at all. The Table of Contents runs to 6 pages on its own! Starting with an introduction and the more basic stuff like charging your Kindle, powering up and down and registering with Amazon, the book swiftly moves on to the more difficult stuff (well, for people like me anyway!) like connecting your social media accounts, adding email accounts and the different types of browser you can use.
There's loads more stuff, I haven't got the time to list.
I now find this book indispensable. Every time I want to know how to do something on my Fire, I just...
2. Useful Guide
Having considered other guides for the Fire HD, I decided that this would cover all the content I required. Although I knew most of it, having owned my Kindle for a couple of weeks and being tech literate, there were some very useful tips and techniques to enhance my user experience. A fast and easy read, it represents good value for an average user and exceptional for the novice. Even the pro can gain something from this Guide.

Really glad I got this....worth the read just for instructions to access camera for free which you cannot access without buying an app if you didn't research. Some great tips. This is my first tablet (kindle) and this book has helped me to enjoy it more. I was not happy with the fact that the camera was only on one side and I couldn't access it at first (advertised as having camera--deceiving when compared to other devices). Book gives you some good free apps to get started.
